In general circumstances, two most common methods that are used for hair transplant treatment happen to be of FUE and FUHT. Other processes that are considered better in both of these are quite new and are nothing more than improved versions of FUE.
In the FUHT method of treatment, the hair follicles are extracted out of strip harvested from the part of the scalp that still has hair with DHT resistant follicles. The harvested grafts are then implanted over the bald region. This is cost effective hair transplant treatment method. The only drawback that it flakes is the waste ratio of grafts.
The second procedure is that of FUE or Follicular Unit Extraction. In this process, hair grafts are extracted individually and then implanted in the bald region. The waste of graft is quite low in this process; however, this hair transplant treatment method is costly and requires a higher level of expertise and skilled support staff for the best results.
Some of the other modified forms of the FUE happen to be Feather Touch Transplant and Perfect I method. These methods focus on reducing the sensation of pain and downtime. Additionally, further reduction in terms of hair grafts is another major benefit offered by these methods.
