Inspired by The Year of The Dragon — Versace debuted a gorgeous, colorfully patterned silk skirt which features a golden dragon, the symbol of success and happiness. A similar pattern is used for Versace‘s Year of the Dragon Jewel Limited Edition line of handbags, made exclusively for Asia. The fashion empire is just one of many Western luxury brands that seek to make 2012 a prosperous year through wealthy Chinese customers.
