Following a performance last month in NYC for the Ali Forney Center for LGBT youth, the beautiful Nikki Jean will be releasing her debut album Pennies in A Jar on Tuesday, July 12th. The album features collaborations with Carly Simon, Lupe Fiasco, Bob Dylan, Black Thought, Carole King, Burt Bacharach who helped pen the title track, and more. The project is an exciting turning-point for fans who have faithfully followed Nikki for 3 years since her involvement with Philadelphia indie/hip-hop band Nouveau Riche.
